The Ellen Christine hat this costume designer is wearing almost didn’t arrive in time for the cocktail party she was on her way to when we caught up with her. “It just came back from an Italian Vogue shoot,” she informed us. The precisely lined red lip, smoky eye, and spiky fringe were not on loan, however. That kind of vision can’t be borrowed.
