Jill Stuart Cosmetics, From Kawaii To Cute

While you might be familiar with Jill Stuart’s pretty, feminine clothes and her fragrance line, it’s likely you were unaware that she’s also something of a makeup mogul—in Asia, that is. With a full range of girly cosmetics in frosted candy colors, Jill Stuart Beauty is huge in Japan, not unlike karaoke and popular celebrity endorsements Americans were never meant to see. But the eye shadow quads, lipsticks, and foundations that Charlotte Tilbury used to create the feel of “seventies fairylike nymphs” at the designer’s runway presentation yesterday will finally be making their way stateside this spring. Now if we could only get those cell phone-operated vending machines that sell clothes and beer over to our shores…
