The Bowl Cut, In Reprise

When we spotted this 27-year-old in Bryant Park last week, we were obviously transfixed by her daring embrace of the Mary Stuart Masterson-in-Some Kind of Wonderful shaved-back, full-top crop—and even more hypnotized by how well she was pulling it off. Then she revealed the truth behind her successful late-eighties, early-nineties revival effort. “I’m actually a hairstylist,” she divulged. “I just wanted something fun that was a little eighties but also a little modern.” Mission accomplished.

  2. That is an incredible haircut. The best version of that haircut was Jane from Melrose Place in the early 90’s. I wish you had a pic of the back.
