This column features weekly tips and advice from a revolving cast of industry leaders, on hand to discuss your beauty dilemmas, from blemishes to Botox. The following query was culled from a private stock, but we’ll be accepting readers’ questions soon.

I want to know what to put on a spot post-breakout for healing. Is it best to exfoliate or to moisturize?

Post-breakout lotions or gels with benzoyl peroxide work best and make for a quick resolution.

  1. I successfully have used a product called Epionce to control the oil production in my skin. The results have been quite amazing and they have a true clinical study that proves their lytic products to work more effectively than 10% benxoly peroxide http://www.epionce.com/docs/Lytic3.doc.pdf
I have used a myriad of products over the years that have left my skin raw. Now I have healthy looking skin, thanks to the new paradigm behind Epionce, which focuses on repairing and strengthening the skin’s barrier, and delivering ingredients that are therapeutically and scientifically proven through the top layer of skin to effect a change. Works for me!
