Celebrity Looks

Identical By Birth, Individualized By Texture

October 29, 2008  11:30 am

The Olsen twins are both blonde again, which might be causing a bit of confusion for those of you who’ve become accustomed to identifying them as the “troubled” brunette (Mary-Kate) and the “classy” blonde (Ashley). For the novice star-stalker who hasn’t yet mastered the intricate differences in their facial contours, the actresses-cum-fashion designers-turned authors made it easy for onlookers yesterday at a signing of their new book, Influence, at a Barnes & Noble in New York, playing with texture to create a point of difference. Let it be known: Wavy is the new “troubled;” smooth and sleek, the new “classy.”

  1. I went to the signing yesterday and it was surreal to see them in person. They seemed terrified of all their fans but they were very sweet and smiley!
