Katherine Heigl Takes A Stab At Rockabilly

At yesterday’s L.A. boutique opening and U.S. coming-out party for Australian pajamas designer Peter Alexander, Katherine Heigl attempted a variation on the pompadour. Unfortunately, there was something sort of lopsided about the whole undertaking, which compels us to dole out a small, albeit unsolicited advisory to the Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee: Let lesser actresses channel that whole fifties-by-way-of-eighties look and you stick to modifications of the 1940’s- inspired photo shoot you did for Vanity Fair in January, which still haunts our dreams (in a good way).
