This column features weekly tips and advice from a revolving cast of industry leaders, on hand to discuss your beauty dilemmas, from blemishes to Botox. The following query was culled from a private stock, but we’ll be accepting readers’ questions soon.
Is there any real way to reduce the size of pores? If so, what are the best products to use?
It’s really difficult to reduce the size of pores, as this is genetically determined. One thing that can improve the appearance of pores is topical retinoids, which are usually only available by prescription. They help the skin to turn over more efficiently and this helps to improve the appearance of pores. Cleaning the skin with the Clarisonic Skin Care brush can also help achieve this same goal.
