We don’t want to state the obvious, but we feel compelled to point out the Robert Palmer video-loving that was going on at Louis Vuitton. Sure, you could also link makeup artist Pat McGrath’s backstage beauty look to the collection’s “sexy, saucy, Parisian forties” nuances, but the cheek contouring, smoky eye, and glossy red lip, courtesy of Max Factor’s lip bullet in Ms. Right (topped off with an ultra high-shine gloss), were screaming leggy eighties excess to us.
