Braids Of Glory

Nicole Richie has pretty much mastered any/all forms of braid love. One of the first to (successfully) embrace the milkmaid movement that swept Hollywood a few years ago, she continues to experiment with the style, frequently alternating between a coronet of braids and the reverse style which wraps around the back of the head, rather than the front. She went with a more sophisticated French interpretation at last night’s Environmental Media Awards, but kept it edgy by finishing it with a messy bun. We’re fans of this look when our hair is really (really) dirty—and are thrilled to see that it’s now red-carpet acceptable.
