Cindy Crawford, Forty And Loving It

As the supers return to magazines and billboards en masse, fashion’s interest in iconic catwalkers from the last two decades is pretty all-encompassing at the moment—and it’s likely what landed 40-year-old Cindy Crawford in Paris Vogue‘s November issue. Everyone is clamoring over Cindy’s still, um, super body (yes, she looks ridiculously good; it’s not up for debate), but we’re more interested in that fuchsia lip color, spotted in its muted incarnation at Marc by Marc Jacobs for Fall and in its full vivid glory for Spring at Hussein Chalayan. Based on product previews and event launches, we guessed that Ms. Crawford was wearing one of YSL’s new lip colors, and upon reading the story’s credits, our suspicions were confirmed: YSL Rouge Volupté in Rose Culte, courtesy of makeup artist Jeanine Lobell. Thus, all pressing questions were answered: Does Cindy still have it? Yes. Is our ability to identify lipstick out of the tube up to snuff? Indeed it is.

Great shot, but who did the photoshopping…???? Cindy has never EVER been that slim around the hips or thighs.
Sorry, guys, but its just another case of serious visual misleading. As a photographer myself, i can vouch for it: its a FAKE, serious digital image enhancement going on… uhhhh, thought vogue et all would be beyond that, at least speak the truth !!!! but then again Inez v Lamsweerde was always known as a great admirer of Photoshop. just look at her early works when she was still residing in Amsterdam ). alexkallos
