Drugstore Discovery Of The Week

On a MacGyver-style mission to CVS this weekend for gum, tweezers, and a taupe-y eyeliner (I already had paper clips and twine in my bag, so I was pretty much set in the escape plan-hatching department), I stumbled upon a piece of multifunctional genius that deserves proper acknowledgment. L’Oréal recently released a line of Brow Stylist Professional pencils that come with a built-in brush on one end and hidden tweezers on the other, while doubling as both eyeliner and brow filler. And, surprise, the tweezers actually work, too (as a devoted Tweezerman user, my standards for efficacy are pretty high). When topped off with a coat of clear gloss, the light brown shade I purchased made for a great last-minute nude lip option as well—good to know if you run out of your go-to lipstick (or if a flock of bad guys stands between you and your makeup bag).
