Kiehl’s Since 1851 Dabbles In Accessories

With the soaring popularity (read: ubiquity) of the designer collectible tote, it’s not altogether shocking that Kiehl’s Since 1851 is getting in on the game, albeit across the pond. In collaboration with Selfridges and Terrence Higgins Trust, the U.K.’s largest HIV charity, the cult skincare brand has enlisted six celebrities to design limited-edition bags in a fundraising campaign for World AIDS Day. The canvas shoppers, featuring each person’s visualization of what beautiful means to them (spoiler alert: It means butterflies to Allegra Hicks) and filled with each would-be artist’s favorite Kiehl’s products, will be auctioned on eBay between November 22 and December 1. It’s unclear whether international shipping will be an option, but there’s certainly no harm in doing a little window-shopping before the auction goes live next weekend. (We’ve also heard that setting up a British P.O. Box is not as laborious as it sounds.)
