Space NK Goes National

For those of you unable—or unwilling—to make the trip to Space NK’s only U.S. satellite stores, in Manhattan and Short Hills, New Jersey, respectively, some good news: The British-based apothecary known for stocking an exceptionally well-curated selection of choice beauty products has joined forces with Bloomingdale’s to offer a unique retail space at nine of the department store’s nationwide locations. The ribbon was officially cut at Bloomies’ Upper East Side flagship this morning, to be followed by its downtown outpost, as well as five sites in California later this month. Luxury skincare and makeup from niche international brands (plus those incredibly chic Fabien Baron-designed perfume bottles for Space NK’s new, in-house line of signature fine fragrances) are now much more accessible—an excellent early holiday gift, to be sure.
