Spa’ing, Now Available On The Sunset Strip

The completion of the Sunset Marquis’ recent expansion means a couple of things: For starters, the Presidential Villa is open for business, so its two bedrooms, three bathrooms, three fireplaces, gourmet kitchen, screening room, executive office, walk-in closets, and the choice of a Bentley, SUV, or limo can now be yours for a really (really) extravagant “I deserve this” weekend getaway. Decidedly more accessible is the property’s new spa, which offers an impressive menu of services that represent the West Coast’s only outpost for Erbe products, the Italy-by-way-of-New York botanical skincare line that uses ancient herbal recipes that date back to the Renaissance. Simply called SPA, the 1,800 square feet are dotted with a dedicated facial room, a massage suite, two wet rooms with 5 x 8 rain showers, and plush leather spa furniture designed by Porsche. There’s no facial-and-Bentley package (yet) but total relaxation and a crystal-clear complexion can provide a similar thrill to a quick, luxury-car joyride.
