No, this isn’t Givenchy’s attempt to benefit from the purchasing power of goth enthusiasts with dry skin. It’s the new Le Soin Noir, an extra-rich antiaging cream formulated with a rare black algae extract that helps maintain and prolong cellular longevity. Rich in fatty acids, the black-colored molecules hydrate skin and add firmness and radiance while diminishing lines. It goes on clear, although we wonder how many truly devoted product junkies would happily slather on an opaque onyx cream in the name of brand loyalty and the belief that it was really working? There’s obviously no way to find out short of an elaborate test study, but we’re going to guess that there’s a few of you out there.
