Mary J. Blige: The Bowl Of The Ball

As if yesterday’s inaugural speeches, parades, and general smile-and-wave action weren’t enough visual stimulation, last night’s balls provided plenty more eye candy for international style spectators. We found ourselves particularly drawn to Mary J. Blige’s blond bowl cut, which was the picture of symmetrical perfection even as she belted out “Just Fine” at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball at the Washington Convention Center. It’s a tough look to pull off, although when done right it can have way more impact than, say, a bob—which compels us to put the question on the table: bowl cuts or bobs? You make the call.
