Celebrity Looks

Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman, But Still Totally Age-Appropriate

January 7, 2009  11:50 am

It was bound to happen: Dakota Fanning is a teenager. But as evidenced by her appearance at last night’s Palm Springs Film Festival Gala, the soon-to-be 15-year-old has a good head on her shoulders—and a good makeup artist/stylist team keeping her from going the way of Disney-bred teen queens who were a little too anxious to grow up (by which we mean, to experiment with trashy, overdone makeup). Dakota’s bare face, natural brows, and just the slightest touch of mascara spell good things to come for this child star. If she can just manage to avoid the set of all future High School Musical productions, she should be fine.
