Scarlett Does Marilyn For Stefano And Domenico

While the highly anticipated Dolce & Gabbana makeup collection won’t hit stores until April, the equally hyped ad campaign starring Scarlett Johansson has already leaked its way onto the Internet. The racy images, shot by Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø, feature ScarJo as Marilyn, reincarnating the curvy screen star’s signature blond ringlets, lashes, and well-groomed brow. The rich red lip is similarly retro, although it was conceived with the best modernity has to offer: Makeup artist Pat McGrath reportedly consulted on the colors for the entire line.

  1. I am very excited about D&G’s creation of a makeup line. We need more prestige lines to compete with the likes of Dior, Chanel, YSL, etc. BUT! Madonna did this 16 years ago! Lindsey Lohan did it in W! I am so over the Marilyn rip offs, especially from Johansson who hasn’t made 3 good films. IMHO.
