As awards season officially gets under way, with the People’s Choice Awards and the Critics’ Choice Awards fueling celeb-news sites this week and the Golden Globes set to dominate the blogosphere on Sunday night, we’ve already noticed a hair trend among some of Hollywood’s leading ladies: Very sleek chignons and ponytails are staking a claim for the updo of choice this year, with Penélope, Olivia, Angelina, and Kate leading the charge.
