Katy Perry’s pink Basil Soda gown and equally bubblegum lip at last night’s Grammy Awards are making news across the blogosphere—as are Jennifer Hudson’s Roland Mouret number and metallic makeup look (that’s Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect in #377 on her lips, in case you were wondering). But we feel compelled to use this space to discuss those old awards show standbys, bejeweled hair accessories. Gratuitous or outfit-making? You make the call.
