Cordless Controller

March 11, 2009  10:17 am

A design-savvy friend of Beauty Counter’s sent this gem along in an e-mail, with an inappropriate subject heading not worth repeating here. All comparisons to battery-operated pleasure devices aside, the Snooc, as this hair straightener is called, is an achievement in industrial design pioneered by the good folks at Bluelarix Designworks. Created for a 25-to-35-year-old demographic that “feels young and mobile and follows the latest trends,” this sleek cordless appliance is intended to rock the conservative styling-tool establishment with its innovative look and automotive contours. Unclear whether or not these are in production (or if they come in any other colors, for that matter), but should your interest be piqued—and you happen to be young, mobile, and trend-conscious—send an inquiry to office@bluelarix.com.
