Estée Lauder Simulates Summer In A Bottle

Back by popular demand, Estée Lauder has just released the latest edition of its seasonal franchise Bronze Goddess. Equipped with the usual suspects—bronzers in liquid and powder form, a “sand and sea”-inspired eye shadow palette with a variety of neutrals and blues to choose from, an eye pencil duo in teal and aquamarine, and a bevy of lip glosses fit for the tropics—the collection also features Eau Fraîche Skinscent. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked this fresh, beachy scent when it premiered last March. Notes of golden amber seem to mimic the heat of the sun, while very subtle undertones of coconut milk, vanilla, and myrrh emanate summer in all of its above-75-degree glory. We’ve actually started keeping a bottle by our desks so we can take occasional deep sniffs and imagine brighter times. Sigh…
