Mena Suvari’s Plumage

March 13, 2009  2:28 pm

At last night’s launch event for the USA Network’s American Character: A Photographic Journey, Mena Suvari debuted a set of feathered bangs of Farrah Fawcett proportions. There’s something about them that isn’t sitting right with us (too much volume, perhaps?) but we like that she went there—and that she has returned to her chestnut brown roots, warming them up with (very well done) honey highlights. The color combination becomes her. Thoughts?

  1. I don’t find this flattering. The shade and cut are aging, and the whole look (from makeup to dress) is washed-out. She has done better.

  2. The color is a little bland but okay. The style, however, is horrid, like she’s copying Katie Holmes or something.

  3. This looks like a Mila Jovovich-inspired wig. Not at all flattering
