NEEM OIL/(neem oil)/n./ 1. A precious medicinal oil made from the pressed nuts of the neem tree, Azardica indica, which is indigenous to India; /n./ 2. Referred to frequently in ayurvedic texts as a cure-all for a host of ailments due to its antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic, and antiparasitic properties; /n./ 3. A moisturizing and regenerative treatment for damaged hair and skin that is rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids; e.g., “Combat anything from mosquitoes to dandruff with a generous application of neem oil.”
