Christy Turlington, Still Super

With the nineties supermodels making their presence felt in ad campaigns and fashion spreads the last few seasons, we’re taking this opportunity to show them as they are and as they were, to make it even more clear why they’re still getting all the good jobs. Case in point: Christy Turlington at last night’s 36th Annual Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Gala Tribute honoring Tom Hanks, and Christy Turlington circa 1993. Apparently, she still loves a statement lip (and so do we; look out for a new The Look feature on Friday). Thoughts on Christy’s color of choice—and the supers’ triumphant return?
