Dita Von Teese, Hostess With The Mostess

The New York social calendar kicked into high gear last night with a slew of magazine parties and such, but the real beautiful people seemed to be gathered on the left coast, where Dita Von Teese hosted a luncheon for designer Rachel Pally. Maybe it was the glorious sunlit background of the Chateau Marmont, but everyone in attendance looked radiant, Von Teese included, whose jet-black pin curls and porcelain skin were trumped only by what is the most perfect red lip we’ve seen all season (note: a bit of concealer and powder around your lip line will accentuate the color and shape of your mouth). We know we’ve been somewhat critical of the actress’ look in the past, but we were 100 percent on board with it yesterday. You?
