Eva Mendes’ Lessons In Simplicity

You’ve gotta hand it to Eva Mendes. While the actress occasionally dabbles in beauty risk-taking, she mostly sticks to a three-part plan that works every time: neutral lip, rosy cheek, and a sultry eye in varying degrees of smoky. She added a little height to the back of her honey brown locks at last night’s 2009 Parsons Fashion Benefit, which we thought was a nice touch, as it was just enough to grab our attention without being too over-the-top. What do you think—perfectly executed or a touch dull, considering the gorgeous canvas she has to work with?
