Kate Moss’ Black Magic

April 3, 2009  10:41 am

With all the Topshop commotion this week, New Yorkers have gotten an eyeful of Kate Moss, who has been in town fêting the store’s launch. Mostly she’s been sporting a soft, smoky eye and a subtle, finger-combed bouffant to accessorize her wardrobe from the British store, but we also noticed a full set of black fingernails. We typically find the lacquer color somewhat contrived and, dare we say, played out, but seeing as how Kate the Great can do no wrong stylistically, we’re conflicted. Thoughts on the polish as a trend that just won’t die?

  1. …perhaps we should accept the black polish like the little black dress…it’s here to stay

  2. I agree, I think it’s here to stay. I even like it when it’s a little chipped (is that wrong?)
