Tweezerman’s Eyebrow-Raising Eco Initiative

April 13, 2009  5:02 pm

We don’t need another reason to turn to Tweezerman for all of our plucking and shaping needs; the fact that its slanted tweezers are hands-down the best in the business when it comes to at-home eyebrow grooming keeps us pretty loyal. But seeing as how it’s Earth Month and working to create a more eco-friendly consumer mentality is never a bad thing, here’s another one: With every purchase of the brand’s new special-edition “Go Green” Mini Slant, $1 is donated to the National Arbor Day Foundation and a new tree is planted. With packaging made from 100 percent recycled paper and printed with natural soy ink, going green now comes part and parcel with perfectly clean, arched brows. Remember to also take advantage of Tweezerman’s free sharpening service for the life of the tool to further decrease your carbon footprint—and always tweeze in the direction of hair growth, plucking at the root to avoid breakage. Truly, words to live by.
