A New Reason To Embrace Dark Nails

Here’s a cool tip we just picked up from our blogging compatriot over at Allure: If you’re a fan of vampy lacquer shades but are less excited about the stain the deep colors can leave on and around your fingertips when you remove them, Dashing Diva’s Pattie Yankee suggests placing a small dab of lotion on each nail before going at them with a cotton pad and acetone. It will prevent the pigment from bleeding onto skin. A ten-finger salute to Essie’s Bordeaux, anyone?
