A collective embrace of volume seemed to take a strong hold over some of the Met gala’s attendees last night, where big hair made more than one appearance on the red carpet. In decade-spanning order, there was Agyness Deyn channeling a Marilyn-esque, ratted-out set; Anne Hathaway doing the late sixties/early seventies long flip, à la Sharon Stone in Casino; and Selma Blair, who took an eighties punk bouffant to, er, new heights. So, do you think bigger really is better?
