Face Stockholm Gets The Royal Treatment

We just received word that the founder of one of our favorite brands, FACE Stockholm, has been awarded the Royal Patriotic Society Business Medal from King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. Gun Nowak received the very official-looking accessory, which is presented to individuals who have worked to create and develop companies that succeed in building and strengthening the Swedish tradition, at a ceremony in the House of Nobility in Stockholm. We mostly think “blond, blue eyes, and very tall” when we ruminate on the Swedish tradition, but Nowak can be credited for adding “appreciation for fun makeup” to that list. Her eye and lip colors are some of the brightest in the business, and her liquid liners are among the easiest to use.
