Kiehl’s Clean-Up Effort

We’ve been on the argan oil bandwagon for quite some time now, mostly enjoying the extra-rich, nourishing moisturizer in its face-slathering form. But the right moment to break out the new argan cleansing oil from the Kiehl’s Superbly Restorative line didn’t come until this weekend, when the residual grimy effects of a few days of warm temperatures and outdoor activities spent in cutoffs presented us with a prime opportunity. Since cleansing oils serve as excellent emulsifiers that actually bond to excess oil and dirt when massaged into skin with water, they provide a perfect post-impromptu-softball-game-in-the-park deep clean that won’t dry you out. The Kiehl’s version offers an aromatic experience with the addition of sweet orange, patchouli, eucalyptus, and cedarwood oils. And as an added bonus, it also doubles as an excellent shaving cream, which makes it a great seasonal multitasker you’ll definitely want to have on standby this summer.
