Ladies In Red At Chopard

Both Marion Cotillard and Peaches Geldof showed up at the Chopard Trophy soirée last night in Cannes with lips painted in varying shades of scarlet. Cotillard used a more classic bloodred to dress up her finger-combed updo, while Geldof went brighter, opting for a glossy orange-ish incarnation to complement her heavily lined eyes and not one, but two hair accessories. Both work, we think, as good, personality-specific adaptations of the color’s versatility. Which resonates more with you?
