NIACIN/(Ni-Ah-Sin )/n./ 1. Nicotinic acid, otherwise known as vitamin B3, which occurs naturally in plants and animals; /n./ 2. A water-soluble micronutrient typically used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood that has recently emerged as a key factor in helping the skin repair itself from sun damage and aging, e.g., “Increase resilience to UV rays and defy their unfortunate physical effects with Niacin.”
