Hair Spray: What Has It Done For You Lately?

As the summer offerings continue to pour in, creating something of a product fort around our desk, we were able to sift through the blockade of shimmer oils, self-tanners, and SPF-laden moisturizers to discover what seems to be a budding trend in seasonal haircare. We give you the dual-acting hair spray, a clever hybrid that provides hold and some beneficial extras in a single spritz. Leading the charge in the category are Ojon’s new Restorative Hair Treatment Spray, a leave-in that infuses dry strands with a nourishing dose of omega-3, 6, and 9 essential oils while providing a lightweight hold, and Strict Firm Finishing Spray from Badass Hair, a fairly new endeavor from stylist Scott Fontana. This firm holding hair spray is not only humidity resistant but also doubles as a texturizer for that piece-y, textured look of post-beach fame. Multitaskers: good for the wallet and limited bathroom shelf space.

  1. I have never been a big fan of hair spray, but the Ojon product sounds amazing. I love my Ojon conditioner and I am definitely thinking about buying more of their products. My hair is in desperate need of some restorative oils… maybe Ill give it a shot! Thanks!
