Jessica Simpson, Back To Reality

Newlyweds fans, rejoice: The cameras will start rolling next month on Jessica Simpson’s new docu-series, The Price of Beauty, according to VH1, which has slated the show for release early next year. The concept is simple: Simpson will travel the world discovering local fashions, dietary fads, and beauty regimes in a quest to reveal how beauty is perceived across the globe. As a public figure with firsthand experience of American perceptions of beauty (last January’s unfortunate high-waisted jeans incident was a shot heard nationwide), she seems up for the challenge. And then there’s her charming naïveté. We’ll be watching—the first few episodes, at least. You?
