Sassoon Puts Down the Scissors, Picks Up The Pen

Vogue.co.uk is reporting that a beauty autobiography to end all beauty autobiographies is in the works. Vidal Sassoon—modifier of the bob, creator of the wedge—is apparently hard at work on his own life’s story, an as-yet-untitled, ghostwriter-free manuscript that will likely include plenty of Sassoon’s own exploits, from his fascist-fighting teenage years through his tenure as the most sought-after celebrity stylist of the 1960’s. Add it to the reading list for 2010.
