COCONUT OIL/(Koh-Koh-Nut Oil)/n./ 1. Oil extracted from the kernel or meat of a matured coconut harvested from the coconut palm, Cocos nucifera, which is native to tropical regions across the globe; /n./ 2. A good source of nourishing fatty acids with a small molecular structure that allows for easy absorption into dry skin and hair; /n./ 3. Possessing antifungal, antiseptic, and antioxidant properties to prevent bacterial infections as well as free-radical formation, e.g., “A low-calorie cooking option, coconut oil also keeps hair and skin soft and supple.”
