Vivienne Westwood Takes The Wrap

July 15, 2009  11:17 am

A forever fan of flame hair and a red lip, Vivienne Westwood changed it up last night at the Burma VJ premiere in London—sort of. The Brit designer made an orange-colored silk scarf look nearly as good as her own tresses, which she complemented with her signature lip color and an interesting red/brown cat-eye. It’s something that could prove difficult to pull off for the average dame, but not this one, apparently. Thoughts on the look?

I can imagine taking on - gratefully - the outrageous look one piece at a time w/o becoming a walking knock-off myself. What more to ask from fashion as art?
