Beyoncé Hearts Grizzly Bear And A Fuchsia Lip

Last night, as the sun set over the East River and the last Pool Party in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, my heart skipped a beat—three actually. As I sipped on warm sparkling wine and listened to Grizzly Bear round out the summer concert series, Jay-Z (one) and Beyoncé (two) walked through the VIP section. Way smaller and more svelte than she seemed on stage at Madison Square Garden, she was sporting long, honey brown ringlets and a hot pink pout (three). It was, to put it bluntly, the sighting of the summer. Thoughts on the look?

1. She is beautiful in this picture and even more beautiful in person. The lip was perfection. Irreplaceable.

This is one of the few times I have really been blown away by the way Beyonce looks… the absoloute disaster that is the House of Dereon made me lose a lot of respect for her in terms of fashion sense, and her abuse of Balmain at the BET awards and destruction of the work Thierry Mulger put into her tour costumes by turning them into yet another clothing line only contributed to that, but this photo is effortless (I personally wouldn’t wear those earrings, but I don’t mind them too much here) and really really beautiful.

3. Beyonce looks really beautiful and carefree. She has always been a tiny, little thing in person. Don’t let the curves fool you.

4. a little less sleek or chic gthan her usual, especially where the hair is concerned but think thats what makes the beauty in this, loving the contrast bubblegum pink against her skin. Nice to see a moreaccessible beauty by our favourite Diva

8. I really hate the earrings… and I hate the lipstick as well, but it all just works on her. Obviously it helps that she’s so attractive, but I never thought she’s do unkempt so well… she’s carried it off perfectly and she looks beautiful.
