Creams Of the Crop

As we mentioned in our recent Statement Nails feature, matte tips are big for fall. Another burgeoning trend that has us even more excited is the return of cream colors completely devoid of shimmer and iridescence. As haters of all things sparkly (excepting choice pieces of jewelry, of course), we say bring them on. CND has a huge flat color launch planned for October, and we are currently transfixed by the five non-metallic Crayola-bold polishes in Zoya’s recently launched Truth or Dare Collection. Demi, a warm purple that’s totally wearable now, makes for a nice accent on tan skin, while Pinta, an inky aubergine, will be screaming our name in a few months when we segue into darker lacquers. It’s a good color compromise if, like us, you simply cannot rationalize wearing black tips.

just got some of this collection and thanks for pointing out a few key things. I really like this blog (and twitter the articles quite often!) and I always learn about something new that other sites are not talking about … yet! So thanks for well written work.
