Lancôme Pulls Out All The Stops For FNO

-------

For its Fashion’s Night Out shindig on September 10, Lancôme wasn’t content to just pour some bubbly and pack up a few gift bags. Instead, it has called on its big guns to meet, greet, and rep the brand hard. A bevy of supermodel spokeswomen, celebrity makeup artists, and socialites will be manning its counters from Soho to the Upper West Side, giving you the opportunity to get spritzed by Daria Werbowy and receive makeup advice from Patti Hansen’s go-to girl, as well as enter to win two tickets to Chris Benz’s show on September 14. Read on to get the specifics.

Under Her Spell

Marking her first personal appearance in the U.S., Daria Werbowy will be at the Saks Lancôme counter from 6 to 7 p.m., previewing its new Hypnôse Senses fragrance, for which she is the face. The perfume doesn’t officially launch until October, but 30 bottles will be available for pre-sale on the night of the 10th. And then there’s the getting to look into those doe eyes up close. (Swoon).

Totally Tubular

Model “It” girl Arlenis Sosa will take a break between designer fittings to pull counter duty at Macy’s Herald Square from 6 to 7 p.m. The newest member of team Lancôme, she will presumably be talking makeup shop (she loves Juicy Tubes), smiling, waving, kissing babies, etc.

Getting Good Face

Celebrity makeup artist and Lancôme Beauty at Every Age Expert Sandy Linter will be serving up tips at Bergdorf Goodman from 6 to 7 p.m. Linter will be giving her usual clients (Sigourney Weaver, Patti Hansen, and Bette Midler) the brush-off to better serve you. Celebrity makeup artist Andrew Sotomayor will be at Lord & Taylor doing the same.

Socializing With the Socialite Set

Elettra Wiedemann, one of Sotomayor’s regulars, won’t mind parting with the face painter for the night because she’ll be busy entertaining guests with makeup artist Daniel Martin and designer Chris Benz at Lancôme’s Upper West Side boutique at 69th and Columbus from 8 to 9 p.m. Anyone who signs the waiting list for Benz’s Pout-a-Porter lipstick will be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to his Spring 2010 presentation (the first ten people to pull out their pens will get a free Fashion’s Night Out T-shirt). Champagne from Henriot and cupcakes from Magnolia will also abound.
