I am appearing on live TV for the first time this month. Is there a certain treatment I can seek out for a quick fix that will ensure my skin looks camera-ready?

Ideally, you should begin preparing three to four weeks prior to the appearance to achieve optimal results. I recommend having several treatments in a row (one per week). Resurfacing and replenishing the skin is key to a healthy, vibrant complexion. This is accomplished using a combination of light professional enzyme peels—an excellent way to speed up the exfoliation process by removing the accumulation of dead surface cells—and therapeutic hydrating facials that replenish the skin with vital vitamins and nutrients. Peels also increase circulation and absorption into the skin’s tissue while stimulating the skin at a cellular level to lighten, tighten, and brighten. Including infrared (LED) light therapy, which is designed to tighten the connective tissue, will promote the production of collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for the skin’s tone and elasticity. If you have time for only one treatment, though, seek out an oxygen facial with the use of infrared light therapy for an instant lift with a glow! Or try my Epi Peel and Quintessential Serum, two great at-home quick-fixes.

It is equally important to focus on nurturing yourself as a whole, as the health of your skin is in direct relation to your overall well-being—body, mind, and spirit. You can create radiance from the inside out from daily healthy lifestyle choices, like eating nourishing foods (juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, incorporating raw meals into your diet, etc), exercising daily, reducing daily life stresses, and thinking positive thoughts. Beauty is a feeling that emanates from within.
