With her work in An Education getting rave reviews, Carey Mulligan is one of the hottest actresses around at the moment, with a no-fuss, tomboy-chic approach to beauty that always veers toward the minimal. The matte skin, full brows, light gloss, and touch of cheek color she wore to the 13th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony in L.A. last night were par for the course, but the moussed-up, rough-and-tumble pompadour was a slight departure. Do you like the updo or do you prefer her usual flat-fringed pixie cut?
