When discussing Cate Blanchett’s skin, the phrase “next level” comes to mind. The actress, who’s a global ambassador for prestige Japanese skincare brand SK-II, reportedly uses the line’s Facial Treatment Mask a few times a week and apparently needs little else. At a Giorgio Armani-sponsored welcome dinner for the Sydney Theatre Company last night in New York, she dressed up said flawless ivory complexion with a slight hint of apricot blush on the apples of her cheeks, a sheer peachy lip for a splash of subdued color, and that’s it—because really, why mess with perfection?

I don’t know why she is an ambassador for anything she is not what I strive to achieve
who knows what she’s using (if SK-II hires her to do commercials), but anyway: great skin!
