A Very Fine Mess

Oh, to be artfully disheveled. Many try to achieve the fine style balance, but few succeed. So we have to give props to Rachel McAdams, who, at last night’s London premiere of the much anticipated holiday film Sherlock Holmes, managed to pull it off with aplomb. Her loose, slightly unraveled side braid felt simple, easy, and reminiscent of the breezy ‘dos that graced Alexander Wang’s Spring 2010 runway, where, insiders will remember, the actress sat front-row. Well played, Miss McAdams!
