I Need a Miracle

December 17, 2009  10:29 am

I don’t get nearly as excited about holiday parties as I should. Yes, there is often free Champagne and delicious appetizers to consume in mass quantities. And, of course, they’re an opportunity to wear all manner of completely unpractical, sparkly things that hibernate in my closet the rest of the year (I’m talking to you, sequined bolero). But holiday parties also mean that precious hours of sleep will be sacrificed, which, in turn, means that my skin will stage a mini revolt. Thank goodness, then, for my latest discovery, Nude Skincare’s Miracle Mask. The silky mask, rich with alpha hydroxy acids and red ginseng, brightens even the dullest, most exhausted complexions. Upon returning from your own holiday parties, apply this little Miracle for five minutes before bedtime to avoid feeling like an ogre come daybreak. Though if you’ve had three too many glasses of bubbly for pre-sleep beauty rituals, morning application will also suffice.

$62, at Sephora.
