Bumble And Bumble’s NYFW Test Drive

Nobody knows about hair damage better than runway models. During show season, girls will have their hair teased, curled, crimped, straightened, braided, and colored—sometimes all in one day. So, who better than New York’s brigade of catwalkers to test Bumble and Bumble‘s new Wear and Care line, which is devoted to repairing, strengthening, and protecting damaged tresses? Come February, Bb will be gifting a handful of models with its new Mending and Quenching collections, each of which contains a mild shampoo, a lightweight conditioner, an intensive masque, and a potent leave-in complex to target both chemical damage from color processing and manual damage from hot-tool abuse and overzealous brushing. The products won’t be available to the rest of us until March, but looking at Stam and co.’s more-luscious-than-usual locks on and off the runway will surely incite the kind of consumer frenzy Bumble is hoping for. To which we say, well played.

As a hairstylist and top colourist in the hair world I can tell you ALL of B&B products are mediocre. Many salons and stylists in top salons now stand behind Shu Umera and Sidlab Haircouture. These are truly dedicated lines for the best in hair!
