WOW. just WOW. i can tell a non-japanese and non-japan native, wrote this article. why? because as a japanese individual born and bred, okamato is nowhere near meisa’s popularity or likability level. ask any young (teens to thirties) japanese person, and they’ll tell you about meisa. okamato may be a good model, but meisa is clearly the more suitable choice.
By thecupcakeconspiracy on 01/14/10 at 2:52 pmp.s. nice try but you can tell the mod/author just threw in their token japanese/asian model without really knowing the shibuya109/ginza district/vivi/can-can generation we’re in now.
By thecupcakeconspiracy on 01/14/10 at 2:54 pmHmm… I think you’re being a tad over-dramatic, but that’s just my opinion. I had no idea who she was until I googled her either. She’s pretty, but she’s no Tao.
By LesleyH on 01/14/10 at 4:37 pmWhoever wrote the first two comments hit the nail on the head. Meisa >>>>>> Tao. Tao is a little too safe and fits typical asian model prototype (monolids-check, white skin-check, bowl cut androgyny-check).
